For just a moment, think back to your childhood. Warm summer days, laughter with friends, and the feeling that you could do anything! For more than 250 Pennsylvania children who require mechanical ventilation to breathe, this dream of a carefree summer day might seem out of reach…but it isn’t.

​For one week each summer, PA Vent Camp offers a traditional summer camp experience to children who require ventilation to breathe. Campers enjoy swimming, arts and crafts, fishing, boating, and sing-a-longs in a safe environment while being cared for by skilled professionals and volunteers.

The best part is that the camp is absolutely free to campers. As you can imagine, the amount of preparation and care that goes into PA Vent Camp is extraordinary. It is because of the generosity of businesses and community organizations that we have been able to provide this wonderful experience for over 30 summers to children who would otherwise not be able to attend a summer camp because of their medical needs.
