Teens aged 13-17 are eligible to apply to be a Junior Partner at PA Vent Camp. We will be accepting a limited number of applicants. All applicants are required to submit an essay stating why you would like to participate in our camp and what you hope to learn or accomplish by attending.
Junior Partners will be assigned to a camper and will meet their camper when they arrive to camp. Throughout the week, Junior Partners will assist the partner in providing for the camper’s needs, act as a peer counselor with the camper, assist with daily activities and care of the camper to facilitate camper attendance in activities, work with others who need assistance and help to promote a fun and inclusive environment for all campers and volunteers. They are also required to assist with camp set-up and tear-down.
We will have an adult supervisor on site at all times for the Junior Partners in addition to our leadership team including our executive and medical directors and myself as staffing director. We are excited to resurrect this program and have more young adult involvement in our camp!
Applicants will be contacted via email once their application is reviewed.

As we continue to live in this COVID era, many safety precautions need to be implemented, as our campers are at high risk. The PA Vent Camp Board of Directors, based on direction from Camp Victory, has developed criteria for in-person attendance at camp. We are asking that you carefully review and understand these criteria before submitting your application.
Criteria for attending:
- All campers and volunteers are highly recommended to have received the primary series COVID vaccine and one booster. While highly recommended, the COVID vaccine is NOT required to attend PA Vent Camp.
- We will no longer be requiring campers and volunteers to take a rapid COVID test upon arrival at Camp Victory. However, anyone with obvious respiratory symptoms and/or fever will be asked to leave. Families dropping off campers are still encouraged to wear medical-grade masks (provided by PA Vent Camp) during the unloading process.
- PA Vent Camp reserves the right to perform rapid tests on any campers or volunteers who become symptomatic during camp. Anyone who tests positive will be isolated and it is expected that they will depart camp within 12 hours of notification.
- Junior Partners are not permitted to leave Camp Victory once they arrive. They must stay on-site for the duration of camp.
